Bass
Bass is my specialty! I started on guitar, adding bass, drums, and piano, but the bass is what made me all my "do-re-me"! I play, teach, sell, and service electric bass guitars, acoustic bass guitars, and upright basses. I deal in a wide variety of beginner, intermediate, and even custom-made professional basses.
Who are my bass "heroes"? On electric, Paul McCartney; on upright, Ray Brown; also, John Clayton, when he was playing locally with Stan Kenton's former drummer, "Baron" Von Ohlen (after graduating from IU, John went on to play with Buddy Rich, Count Basie, and now Diana Krall). Indiana "jazz legend" Mingo Jones was my private teacher and mentor on bass!
